Goaltending Instructors
Jamie Blanchard, Director 
Jamie Blanchard is the author of Pipe to Pipe Goalie Manual and Director of the Jamie Blanchard Goalie Program. Jamie played his minor hockey, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and then went on to play in the Quebec Major Junior League, with the Verdun Junior Canadiens and Granby Bisons. He then played five seasons with the UPEI Panthers in the A.U.A.A., receiving his B.A. degree. He is a level 2 coach and is actively involved with PEIHA Development Camps and Evaluations. He has 17 years experience teaching goaltending across the Maritime Provinces. Jamie was the Goalie coach of the Charlottetown Junior Abbies and the UPEI Panthers for several seasons and most recently is the goal coach for the PEI Rocket.

Mike Smith, B.A, B.ED, Senior Instructor
Mike is a senior instructor with Blanchard Goaltending being with the company since its' inception in 1989. He is certified by Hockey Canada as an High Performance Level One coach. He also serves as a member of the Goaltending Program review committee for Hockey Canada. Mike has been coaching hockey in PEI for the past 12 years. Most recently he has been assistant coach at the University of Prince Edward Island. Previous to that he was co-coach of the provincial Major Midget Champion Charlottetown, Islanders from 2002-2005. Mike has twice been goaltending consultant for Team Atlantic at the World U-17 Championships. He has served as an assistant coach and evaluator with the Hockey PEI Program of Excellence, and will be an assistant for Team PEI at the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse.
